The OEC Adventure

We went fishing and camping on the Swanson River.  It smelled like flowers on a spring day, and I saw a fish jump out of the water.   It made a splash when it got back in the water.  This weekend my dad, mom, Taylor and I went to the OEC.

We unpacked in the Wolf Cabin.   My mom and Taylor shared a bunk, and my dad and I shared a bunk. Then we went out and my dad made a fire.   When he was done, we made marshmallows and they were delicious.  After we put the fire out, we took a walk to the Swanson River to have lunch.  When we got there, we had PB and J’s and they were awesome. On our way back we saw cranes destroying the wet lands and cutting down trees! My dad and I were scared.  Then Taylor yelled, “STOP.” But it didn’t work, so my dad had a plan, it was that we stand in front of the cranes and say you can`t get to the river because you all retry destroyed the bog and some of the marsh and the animals that need those places may die because of you!  My dad failed with his plan and he felt bad for the animals.  So the builders said, “You should leave.”  So we got our stuff and got in
